As a Possiblility for more depth I would include a bit backstory about the various types of magic practiced, I think this is in theme, but am not sure:

The Threads of Magic - Or why different texts teach in different orders

Before Passion there were - amoung humans at least - several methodologies reguarding the teaching and practice of magic: but most can be summed up on a few axes: Axis I: Secularity

    The Secular axis is the most apparent and in most respects the most unimportant axis, particularly in the time of the Church Mill,
     it used to have an effect on how well researched, thus efficent, the magic an order taught, and still does, Secular orders still 
      lead
      it ranges from Passion-laced practitioners to the metaphorical mind of metal

Axis II: Stratifcation

Before Passion made magic commonplace, magical orders guarded their secrets, this axis mesures how much it took to gain access to the hidden tricks, and it still does, only now rather than indicating how deep in the archives one can go, it now measures the proportion of practioners that have access to secrets of an order at differing times before they hit the street

Axis III: Room

Before Passion liberalized magic, magical orders had strata, even if it was member, petitioner, this axis measure how hard it is to rise in an order, this axis ranges from there are more officers than there are total members to a strait line, that is one person at each strata.

Axis IV: Dues This axis measure the average dues paid by members, expressed in power tokens:

 ranges from Church mill to the order pays its members
