Barbarians of Lemuria: The Breath Of A Demon God

Tambourlane, Parsool Vagabond

Once a promising young navigator on a merchant ship, Tambourlane was enjoying shore leave one night (Tambourlane always enjoys shore leave) when he met the sorceress Gallamira, the Lady Galliac. The next morning she had been left alone, and he had taken, among other things, her codex. He never returned to his ship, and his exploration of magical arts untutored has left him weakened and frail (and without an eye -- never use magic to try to see the future), hiding constantly and living by his wits. What prompted this sudden defiant act? Some say it was the book that chose him...
