Background

Annabel Lee, also known as Nibble to her closest friends and lovers, was once the lead guitar and vocals of the world-famous punk rock band "Kingdom By the Sea". Started out as a band by the name "Poe Toaster", Annabel and her friends wrote and performed songs that parodies many famous works by Edgar Allan Poe, among other famous American horror authors. After their talents were recognized by the notorious music executive Simone Bullwell in the talent show "America Has Talents", they quickly became a new sensation in the rock scene. However, as the fame of the band grows, it became more and more about profit and less and less about music; they spend more time banging their heads trying to come up with songs that will please general audiences, and less time to write songs that poke fun at whoever they like (or dislike). Finally, Annabel made the decision to leave the band and United States for good, before she subsequently moved to Japan to start her new life. Why Japan? Because. From her last and only touring in Japan, she felt that Japan is just waaaay too conservative, and is in desperate need of the salvation that is punk rock! Once in Japan, Annabel quickly founded a new band "New Players" with her new friends, and has since rebuilt a solid fan base for herself in the school she studies in.

Personality

When she performs on stage, Annabel is a symbol - she is the "rebellious bad girl" that many people want to be but couldn't, due to social expectation, personal image and various reasons. In person, Annabel is an easygoing and happy-go-lucky young girl who lives the life to the fullest, though she does dislike playing by the rules and encourages everyone to think outside of the box. However, despite her numerous lovers, friends and fans, deep down inside she feels lonely and insecure. She doesn't understand why the world works in the way it does, and why people can let things that are just blatantly wrong to happen over and over again. She believes in true love alright, but she doesn't believe that they can last. That's why she likes to keep her relationships open - if she doesn't tie herself down to anyone, she can't get hurt by anyone, right?
