Cynis Kytharsis: A good friend and a worthwhile ally. She has a habit of angering people, though. Often, the wrong people. I don't know how she keeps getting into such trouble, or why she thinks she needs to lie to get out of it.

Cynis Zende: A bully and a lackey of the worst kind. His obsession with the rest of us is simply a ruse to force his way.

Mnemon Guilo: Though a skilled enough warrior and leader, she lacks knowledge of subtly. If your opponent knows what you are up to, you've already lost.

Mnemon Horus: It is on layers cute and on others sad that he thinks the way he does. I'd tell him as much but, honestly, I don't want him to stop. Is the flaw in him, or in me?

Ragara Falia: Go play legionaire and come back here when you've grown up.

Sesus Ravel: I'm not sure which I like better, the Ravel who used to tie new students to the horses, or the Ravel who won't stop talking about the wisdom of the Dragons. At least he seems sincere about it, unlike the rest of the robe wearing crowd.

V'Neef Desro: Dishonorable, a liar, and as much of a cheat as Zende. He at least has the good manners to hide behind some obscure code and be out to sea more often.

Nellens Vaigu: With the funeral over, what reason do I have to ever come back?

As you can see, Usera is particularly arrogant and a little on the pretenous side. She truly thinks the lifestyle of a warrior is beneath her, and anyone who aspires to it is just a dolt.
