Weapons[edit]
Swords[edit]
- Katana: Increase all glory awards for defeating Rokugani opponents by 25% when using a katana. Additionally when rearming a sheathed katana you may choose to use your Iaijutsu skill. If you do the +5/-5 modifier is reduced to +2/-2.
- Wakizashi: No special rules.
- No-dachi:2-handed, +1d6 DMG, +5 to skill vs cavalry (negates -5 for being unmounted).
Heavy Weapons[edit]
- Tetsubo: 2-handed, +1d6 DMG and an additional +1d6 DMG vs Light Armor
- Ono: 2-handed, +1d6 DMG and an additional +1d6 DMG vs Shields
- Masakari: +1d6 DMG vs Shields
- Die Tsuchi: 2-handed, +1d6 DMG and an additional +1d6 DMG vs Heavy Armor
Polearms[edit]
- Yari: 2-handed on foot, negates +5/-5 when attacking cavalry. 1-handed when mounted. May be thrown 20 yards.
Small Weapons[edit]
- Aiguchi/Tanto: -1d6 DMG
Bows[edit]
- Yumi: 3d6 DMG, -5 to skill when used on horseback. Max Range 150 yards.
- Dai-kyu: 4d6 DMG, -5 to Skill when used on foot. Max Range 250 yards.
Armor[edit]
There are 3 primary types of armor worn by warriors in Rokugan: Ashigaru, Light and Heavy. Lighter armors grant any Bushi wearing them a bonus to Combat skills as they train extensively with the weight. The values given below are for Ordinary quality items, those of greater of lesser workmanship have stats altered accordingly.
