Dear Ms. Flynn,

Hello. I received your note, and I am happy to hear that you are safe with friends.

I've learned a few things since my last letter that I thought I should pass on. I know a little more about your condition, now, and it appears that the 'serum' I gave you comes with some, conceivable, drawbacks. Namely, if you take it for too long (a couple of months?) it becomes the only substance from which you can gain sustenance.

If this is not an issue for you, I believe that you can acquire more of the serum at the (mostly defunct) Parkhurst Institute. I can certainly understand that this might be a problem for you. If so, the Russians should also have the ability to manufacture the serum, and they owe me a favor (due to my stupidity in giving them the journal). If you can hold out for a few weeks, I may be able to get you a supply from that source (I think they would hold to their bargain to help you, since I don’t see how it would benefit them to renege).

You should also know that I am currently staying at the Seelie Court. I can’t imagine that this is a place that holds good memories for you or that you would approve of my associating with its members. Know, however, that I am your friend, and I am on your side. If you need anything, please do not hesitate to ask.

Your friend,
Victor Grayson
