NPC's[edit]

High Tortuga[edit]

  • Jeremiah Storm is an information broker and "fixer" of some repute; he's very good at finding people who can solve other people's problems. Probably better to be in his good books, all things considered. If he's contacting you, then it's likely he has a job offer to make.
  • Darren Breeze messenger boy for the above.
  • Captain Daniel Cumulus of the Glorious Horizon and occasional visitor to the Palace of the Emperor's Pleasures. A gambling man.
  • First Mate Edward Rathbone-Duane of the Glorious Horizon
  • Violet Los Angeles, friend and fellow gambler of Captain Cumulus

Ships Crew[edit]

  • Lily - The ship's Bursar is a teenaged albino Misbegotten with a disrespectful attitude and remarkable education.
  • Frederick Kite - TBA
  • Assistant Engineer Cloud - No relation to the First Mate
  • The Jenkins Boys- A pair of twins no one can tell apart. They are fond of drinking and fighting, preferably simultaneously. Normally pleasant, they are pair of nasty drunks that unleash their fury at "anything capable of bipedal motion."
  • Hodges- a former crew member ultimately thrown off the ship for frequently and flagrantly violating the ship's lax moral code in many imaginative ways.
  • The Old Sarge Led the Marines prior to Cororal Bonaparte taking over. He was killed the day before his retirement. By the Captain. Seems The Old Sarge tried to augument his retirement package by stealing the ship's treasury.
  • François Bleuciel the ships cook. More than a bit of a prima donna.
  • Tom - A octogenarian cabin boy with two wooden legs. Actually he lost one leg, a foot, and his sense of hearing.
  • Curls A scaled hairless hulking Misbegotten man.
  • Pretty JohhnyA clueless handsome strapping young deckhand
  • Barnaby foreshoreHe can climb anything....like a cat. Sinewy, mustachioed, fluid.
  • Voodoo Ali Wears a Fez. Caucasian. The ship's Knife man and safe cracker. Deadly with a thrown fork.
  • Lewis Vickers Machine Gunner
  • Marcel the Galley's dumb waiter.
  • Marines
    • Corporal Bonaparte
    • Edward Zwei-Null-Neun - Automaton Marine
    • Sinai Sally Of African descent, she is the ships bare knuckle champion. Tall and statuesque.
    • New boy He's new.
    • Gung H0 Automaton ganger
    • Tally H0 Automaton ganger
    • Aitch 2O Rainy to his mates. Automaton ganger
    • Nails O'Malley

"What is a mercenary company, but an improvisational theatre troop who challenge other players on the stage of life, eh?"

Gameplay[edit]

We use Invisible castle for die rolls Campaign: Caveat Emptor

Xd6.open(6) will reroll any 6 e.g. 9d6.extra(6) → [2,2,4,4,3,4,5,2,[6, 2]] = (34) If you feel really lucky, Xd6.open(6).open(6).open(6).open(6).open(6) will reroll 6s up to five times (a 1 in 7776 chance)

As for Black Dice, the IC roller lets you make multiple rolls at once.
