Back to Main

A destroyer usually found in the hallowed service of the Adeptus Astartes, but was unfortunately lost to the forces of pirates working in the Ypress system as a flag ship for their tenuous alliance. Thankfully it has come back into the Imperial fold as the first new ship in the Banian Rogue Trader fleet as a harrier with impressive guns and being able to haul a considerable amount of booty.

Officers[edit]

  • Jean-Peter Valkos ap Banain, Captain. Named for his father, Jean-Allister, and grandfather he is much like his father was at his age. That is to say, of dubious moral character but considerable ability to get someone else in trouble for it.
  • Howe, Chief Factorum. A rather meek person that was the first to swear loyalty to the new Banian owners, a fairly good book keeper, accurately predicting the next pay in both the best and worst situations. A little strange in that he doesn't like to wander the halls of the ship, for reasons other than the cutthroats running the ship and the ravenous beasts roaming the Dark Holds.
  • Dr. Nathan Pavrol, Chirugeon General. He is a competent pharmacist and is a rather skilled surgeon, though specifying in derm graphs, muscle replacements, and optional organ installation. He was a successful cosmetic surgeon back on Malfi until some Baron's beloved daughter didn't follow proper rejuve procedures and had some 'fun time' while healing and died of infection. So he hopped the first ship out of the sector with his family, before being raided by these guys, and since it payed better to be proper outlaws was better than just running.
  • Blind Stasia, Master Helmsman. A former fighter pilot that lost her eyes while racing to escape a blockade having her eyes replaced with shotty cybernetics. For the most part she just hooks herself up with an MIU unit into the basic sensors, giving her a better view of the area about the Dark Wolf though now with new eyes, she can at least move about the ship easier and not scare the ratings with random profanity at anything that sneaks up on her.
  • Kandra the Bitchop, Ship's Confessor. She became the leading spiritual leader of the Dark Wolf since the previous one Father Arlan was attacked by the wolves in the hold and lost both legs and a good deal of his internal organs. It was likely the way he wanted to go. She now is responsible of preaching the good word of the Great Leman Russ to the crew to put their backs into it. In general this cult was started when they found the obsidian werewolf statue hidden in the hold that seemed to cause some misfortune if moved. That and of course having the crew of a pirate ship worshiping a founding member of the Imperium that was all about pillaging words for the Emperor, drinking yourself into a stupor, and wenching instead of your standard pious saint made a lot of sense.
  • Engiseer Magnesun, Enginseer Prime. For the most part he was press-ganged into service after a machine spirit on a Fury Interceptor went nuts and just started to do nothing but loops, eventually turning the crew into gruel. He ran and got brought into the crew, and hasn't been happier dealing with a such an ancient machine. Plays rather fast with the rules on dealing with archeotech, as long as he has his run of the workshop to further stroke his own ego.
