The World Tree/Aluna

Aluna, goddess of the new moon, holds dominion over darkness and cold and is tasked with keeping Sanus in balance. She is the first to successfully create an elemental without Althum's elements, only to have them banished to the Elemental Chaos by Ra-Orn. Enraged, Aluna created Zorum, a titan of shadow, and gave it as a gift to Nazuma. Outraged, Ra-Orn cursed Aluna with the never ending moon phases. According to literature, Aluna can only see when she is whole, never to see the pure darkness that she creates.
