An undying witch-lord of an antediluvian race, imprisoned in another world by Atlantean heroes untold ages ago when he sought to conquer their realm. After endless aeons of captivity, the seals of his sub-dimensional oubliette were finally broken by the ravages of the V'sori invasion, setting him free again to vent his long overdue wrath on ancient enemy and new rival alike!

Xanathor is a brooding, scheming megalomaniac, mercurial, grandiloquent, theatrical - nay, operatic - and absolutely obsessed with chewing the scenery. Nothing was ever thrust upon him, no fate forced his hand; he chose the villain life and loves every minute of it.
