Revolver Mastery

Shot Cost: 1 AMO Cost: 1

1) (Surprising Turn of Events) A warrior may load just one round into his revolver (at a shot cost of 1) and spin the chamber, where it stops exactly on the one round. This can only be performed once in a turn (and so is useful for those last-ditch, last-minute shots).

2) (Your Number's Up) Same as Surprising Turn of Events, but a roll must be made. If the result is positive (without rolling a Fortune die), then it stops at the round and causes that particular shot to take down a mook on an outcome of 3 or less.

Sorcery Abilities[edit]

Heal

Unique Schtick[edit]

Force of Fate

Revolver Mastery + Movement (Chucking Things Around)

When the sorcerer uses Revolver Mastery (Surprising Turn of Events), the target of the shot is hurled back as if the sorcerer used Movement (Chucking Things Around) on him.

Melodramatic Hook[edit]

Mayunetta’s father, American police officer Whateley Dunwich was framed of murder by a mob boss and subsequently put to jail. Mayunetta’s mother, Japanese sorceress Mari Shimazaki tried to rescue her husband with sorcery, but the spell failed and the backslash fatally wounded her. Before Mari died, she told her daughter Mayunetta that whoever framed Whataley was now in Japan. So Mayunetta came to Japan with a gun in her hand and vengeance in her heart, in search of the gang leader who framed her father of murder and indirectly killed her father. The problem is, Mayunetta, being not nearly as good at divination as her mother was, has no idea which mob leader should she hold responsible for her loss. Could it be the Japs? Could it be the Americans? Or could it be…the Russians…?
