Richard is a not a nice boy. 23, flunked out of college, delivering pizzas for a living and with no concern for the future, he is a bitter, bitter person. The great shame of it is that he is quite bright, but, has always lacked the motivation and aspiration to better himself. Despite this, he blames others for the position he is in life, from his parents to his friends.

Some months ago, he stumbled across an Object, and he quickly grew obsessed with it. Ignorant of its significance to others, all that mattered to him was what it did for him. The Object chose him, wanted him to have it, him over all others. When it was, naturally, torn from his possession, he has ever since lusted for its recovery. In his heart, he is a sociopath, and there are few things he wouldn't be willing to do to recover the trinket which validated his existence and all of his choices.
