Union of Allied Planets

Consists of the Core Worlds (All White Sun), Boros (+Ares), the moons orbiting Murphy in Georgia (Hera, Aphrodite, Shadow, and countless small moons), St. Albans, and Paquin. These planets have signed on to the new document of Union in 2521, and have been paying taxes as well as signed on to the Union Economic charter, promising to use only the Alliance Credit for all commerce. Practically, this is not true, but it is the document. These planets have Navy bases and depots as well as guaranteed Naval protection of their space.
The Navy also patrols the primary space lanes between these planets.
