Urban Nomad

Rogers was of course of the few die hards that simply refused to let Osborn take the reigns of New York without a fight. Unfortunately, Osborn was a master of propoganda and soon the name Captain America became more riviled than beloved. When the Avengers based out of New York disassembled for the last time... Steve was basically left alone. He's been fighting a hopeless battle day-in-day-out ever since. About twenty years ago he did concede his first inklings of surrender and dispair when he stopped carrying his shield and wearing the Captain America suit. Allegedly this occured shortly after Steve confronted Osborn during a parade in the villain's honor... numerous onlookers laughed when a batch of kindergartener hurled mud and garbage at the hero in Osborn's defence. Ever the believer in democrasy, Rogers ceased attempting to stop Osborn's rise to power after that... the people had chosen that end... and they'd have to learn their folly the hard way. Steve went back to what he'd always known... being soldier... patrolling the back alleys and byways of New York doing has much as one man can. The arrival and public acceptance of Malcolm as Spider-man was something Rogers had been waiting for a long time... he didn't know when or who... but he was positive if he waited... the city would wake up and choose a someone to champion its anguish. He'd always thought it'd be him on some level... but the more he watchs Malcolm... the more he understand's the voice of the people.

Powers:

  • None – (Urban Nomad is pretty much human with a bit of super-soldier serum merely keeping him in perpetual fighting condition.)

Equipment:

  • None – (Urban Nomad supposedly has both the armor and shield stored away somewhere. As a plot device he could retrieve them and that would bump him in power level.)

Weakness:

  • Driven (Major) – Norman has turned the city that host’s Lady Liberty into a tyrannical regime of terror and broken freedoms. Norman’s destruction of his image means far less to him than what he’s done to the city Rogers called home. He’s well aware Norman’s ambition won’t let him stop with New York.
  • Shattered Image (Major) – Norman has smeared Cap’s image in everyway possible. Cap though he looks normal enough effectively has the Disturbing flaw in New York.
  • Antagonist (Moderate) – Norman is still Steve’s enemy but the Goblin King doesn’t view the “has-been” as a threat anymore… and while the Goblin gangs don’t like the old windbag… they are scarred to death of him too.
