Concept: Oni-infused hunter turned even hybrider. (Yes, that's a word. No, don't look it up. Just trust me on this.)
Lineages: Demon/Vampire
Stats: Built 2, Fast 2, Hot 2, Sharp 0

Gear: Ancient Ten-Thousand Folded Steel Katana, Tiger-striped motorcycle, A seemingly inexhaustible supply of booze

+ Gift Fangs (Draining)
+ Gift Raijin (Infernal): The Hybrid may emit hellish lightning as bolts, blasts, or auras, and form them into archaic weapons. They may always choose which object or objects it shall arc into, and decide if it starts normal fires. This lightning always counts as a unholy.
+ Gift Retractable Horns In order to use any of their Demon Charms or Gifts, aside from Unkillable and Immune, the Hybrid must extend their horns. Their horns have a length of 2 inches per Power, minimum 1 inch, and automatically extend when they are above 10+ Power. While at 10+ Power, the Hybrid may regrow a pair of horns as an Action.
+ Gift Teleportation (Warping, Indirect)
+ Immune to suffocation, disease, poison, thirst, hunger, age
+ Immune to electricity, suffocation, disease, poison, thirst, hunger, age. The Hybrid loses this Strength while their horns are severed.
+ Power: Blood When taking an Action to leap, climb, or stalk, they may spend any amount of Juice, gaining +1 Kick for each Juice spent. They may gain Juice by consuming fresh blood. +2 if they drink, +4 if they gorge, and +6 if they wallow.
+ Power: Punisher When the Hybrid causes agony to the wicked or evil, they gain +1 Power.
+ Unkillable unless beheaded, burned, or staked through the heart
+ Unkillable except while horns are severed.

- Lose Control+Drain: Bloodthirst While at 0 Juice, the Shadow may take Actions as the Hybrid, so long as those Actions are to hunt or feed. The Hybrid loses -1 Power at sunrise each day.
Backstory[edit]
Needles. When thinking back on her childhood, Eiko mostly remembers needles. IV drip bags and syringes, to prepare her body. Acupuncture therapies, to prepare her spirit. And finally the tattoos which cover her from the neck down, to finish the seals and mark her as a Hunter. Infusing a human with the essence of an oni is no easy feat, after all.
Eiko was reborn! Having fulfilled her destiny as one of the scions of a long-forgotten clan which protects Japan from the shadows, she was stronger, faster, and tougher than before. There were side effects, of course. Mostly the thirst. Eiko could drink sake by the gallon and still be left wanting more.
Then one fateful night she met a vampire who was more than her match. As his fangs sank into her neck and she started to black out, all she could think about was needles.
When she came to, she was something different. Something new. Her “creator” stood over her and started to monologue, about masters and servants, about a dark kingdom he would create in Tokyo, pretty sure there was something in there about crushed velvet as well?
Nobody knows why Eiko wouldn’t obey him. Maybe the oni spirit refuses to acknowledge a master like this. Maybe her samurai honor was stronger than the vampire instinct. Whatever the case, she killed him on the spot.
Eiko was reborn! Again! She could never return to her old clan like this and decided to leave the country, doing her job elsewhere. She was even stronger, faster, and tougher than before. There were side effects, of course. Mostly the thirst. Eiko could drink people by the gallon and still be left wanting more…
Looks[edit]
Eiko was Embra- I mean, turned when she was 19 years old, and as such she's stuck looking like that. Except, being a vampire, much hotter than before. Depending on which jurisdiction you live in, she might also have been 21 at the time. Wouldn't want things to get weird, you know? As a professional monster-killer she was lean and her hair kept relatively short. As stated previously, tattoos cover her skin from the neck down, displaying a colorful smorgasbord of Japanese mythology, much of it to do with hell and punishment.
Most of the time she goes around in stylish clothes befitting a teenager who keeps up with the times, although she finds it more and more exhausting to do so these days. When she's "on the job" the vampire part of her compels her to wear something black and tight. It's frankly embarrassing but this is an internal struggle she lost years ago. She often wears dark red reflective sunglasses which filter out a good portion of the infrared, as she finds the extra input annoying.
