• History and Personality Villem spent the whole day with his father's nets and didn't set even one hole to rights. That was the last day his father spoke to the flap-eared good-for-nothing. He hooked up with a gambler named Aglus for a while, but even Aglus soon tired of Villem's lack of application. A barge-hauler took pity on the boy and they went off up-river brightly looking to the future. Two days later, Villem came back downriver on the hauler's cousin's craft and was dumped unceremoniously back on the quay. Villem is unsure how much longer his mother will be giving him scraps from the table. He's going to have to do something. Maybe tomorrow.
• Description Flap-eared and skinny, but quite strong nevertheless. Tends to fall over his toes.
