Backstory[edit]

Born to a family of peasants in the largely Swamp Rat Goblin community of Gragnar's Nail in the Witchlight Fens, Nalzi is the second of five siblings and the oldest daughter. Ever since she was a child, she was a quiet but studious person, quick to drink in knowledge from the world around her. Her great-grandmother, affectionately called Nana, had grown fond of this particular great-grandchild and, after ascertaining the young goblin girl indeed had the potential to be a skilled mage, chose her as her current apprentice in the ways of the arcane. During that education, Nana made sure to encourage the young goblin's desire to learn and read.

Nalzi is most at home when researching a spell or reading a good book.
