You remember the old astronmers words well, their etched face lit by globelight and their back framed by stars. You've since taken to the stars yourself, literally leaping into it. The old myn dreamt of far reaches, but you have taken those long and cold paths.
The dull clank of plumbing beneath you reminds you of your presence in this living machine, surrounded by more nothingness than could be counted.
"There is a star up ahead, we've entered it's gravity well." A head popped through the doorway.
"Any change in the probe reports?" You inquire
"No, there's still no sign of myn."
"Do you think we'll survive?" the apprehension tinging your words reflects the mood since you left port.
"Yes, we've got to."
You let the fear dissolve and decide it's time to goto work.
