Zumwalla is a large continent to the far south, full of wonder and danger. Lush jungles, barren deserts, vast grasslands, and even frozen tundra grace the landscape and provide a variety of environments for all sorts of strange and exotic creatures to thrive. That humans have lived in Zumwalla for uncounted millennia is held as an uncontested fact among most scholars and it is also largely believed that humans (as well as elves and dwarves) may have originated from here in the distant past. Currently of all the races, only humans seem to be native here, with any elven or dwarven presences coming from the north for various reasons. Of these humans, however, there are countless varieties that seem to thrive in the various environs present from the simple nomads of the great Angazan Desert to the sophisticated and remote Masalli in the far south.

The continent also holds an astonishing amount of ruins that are believed to have been built by the serpent folk of old and though most have crumbled beyond easy identification, the strange stones that were used to build their temples and palaces have managed to hold their shapes for an astonishing length of time, a fact that causes a strange sense of unease to some who have studied their race's history and their propensity for randomly emerging from ages of death like sleep.
