== Twenty Rules for Winterweir == * Only one character per player at the start, three characters maximum. * You may make NPCs for posting but record them in the [[NPC folder]] if they're meant to be permanent. * All characters start out at 5th level. * Maximum level is 10th level, unless we choose to raise it for storytelling reasons. * All Pathfinder classes are available. * No Book of Nine Swords or other Esoteric classes without permission. * No specific Gods or Demon Princes' related classes. * No Elves, Halflings, Gnomes, or non-Bathas dwarves. * Warforged would be a fairly unique creature but Homonculi are welcome. * Combat is exceptionally dangerous and any lethal combat should be treated with a reasonable amount of fear by most. * Orcs are replaced by Half-Jotuns, Slythin, or "Trow" (antlered green skin humanoids) * Raise dead is possible because its reviving someone but only works within five minutes of death. All other Resurrection spells do not work. * All characters are to come from Winterweir. Foreigners need special permission from the GM and must be from Teth-Ammon. * Social class limit is a Heir to a prestigious noble house or a Baron/Member of Parliament. * No magical objects unless you are a Paladin, Spell Casting Priest, Wizard, or Sorcerer. In which case, you are limited to one. * Alchemists may make all sorts of fun junk but usually one use only. * Comedy is welcome but all 4th wall breaking is considered Non-Canon. * People who behave utterly bizarre will automatically have town guard of an interminate level drag them off as a lunatic. Hehehe. * Strange origins are welcome but it is recommended that player characters try and actually make characters who are fairly normal citizens of Alfein. * Take note sexual libertine habits are fairly loose in Winterweir, including some minor polygamy amongst the upper classes. However, keep to reasonably acceptable behavior. [[(Winterweir) In Search of the Unknown]]
