=Bio= A gentle, inquisitive man at heart, Bolt Ironfist is nonetheless one of the Adeptus Mechanicus' most feared war-makers, having in the course of his adventures with an Inquisition Interrogator, Cecile du Chatillon, honed his combat skills and panoply of fearsome wargear. His augmentations are hand-crafted, each one bearing the mark of a master craftsman who has a deep understanding of a warrior's needs; he has recently achieved his greatest cybernetic creations yet. His cognomen comes from his first attempts at forging augmetics: the powerful steel arms that replaced his fleshly ones. While inoffensive by nature, Bolt is also an implacable foe, utterly relentless on the field of battle, dispensing with mechanical precision the wrath of the Machine-God through bolter-fire, explosive ordnance, and with relish, his bare, polished-steel fists. The chance to visit an Adeptus Astartes homeworld is the opportunity of a lifetime. Having devoted his life to the study of how human anatomy can be adapted to better interface with the immortal machine (he himself bears several cutting-edge bioware implants, which many of the more traditional Mechanicus hardliners shun), the chance to study the Marines and their gene-seed is enough to tear him from his studies and manufactorum. He hopes to one day be able to bioengineer a human organism that can interface perfectly with cybernetics without worrying about potential rejection or psychological trauma from dysmorphia. He considers himself a successful step in that direction, having altered his biology through serums and gene-treatments to make his upgrading less taxing on his physique and psyche: he can't wait to further his studies in this field.
