== Virtues, Willpower & Essence == While Ghenja has those urges and habits that mark one that is virtuous, the virtues in question are perhaps not as much of Creation would recognize them. He doesn't care; he is virtuous according to his own lights, and that's all that matters to him. Interestingly enough, these drives and urges balance each other fairly well - coupled with an extreme self-control, this allows him to channel the strength of his virtues towards his goals. '''Compassion:''' 5
Individuals should be free to fulfill their ambitions - it is his compassion that drives Ghenja to enable such fulfillment. And, of course, once they have fulfilled them the passionate thing is to eliminate them. That his means of doing so are often the cruelest of tortures he doesn't mind - that moment of exultation is the greatest gift he can give others; that it does not last does not diminish the worth.
'''Conviction:''' 5
Ghenja often seeks to destroy or simply undermine the barriers in a society that restrict ambition and limit power. Those who desire have the freedom to achieve those desires in whatever ways they choose - if others object to their goals or means, then those others are free to interfere... if they possess the power and drive to do so.
'''Temperance:''' 5 (Primary virtue)
Ghenja often comes across and calm and collected, regardless of how powerfully emotions and urges roil in his mind. He prides himself on his control and on subjugating his emotions to his goals and less-immediate desires - there is a time and place to indulge, of course. Wound up in his fairly strong self-control and ability to ignore temptations when necessary is the constant desire to bring out ambition in others; for an ideal society is full of grand goals and ambitions, tempered and countered only by one another.
'''Valor:''' 5
Aside from a sense of personal bravery and, under his masks, a torrent of emotional power, Ghenja's drives and desires roil in constant conflict with one another. He seeks to personally tear down individuals and societies, yet also seeks to encourage self destruction; this is a constant internal fight, but one he finds comforting. And regardless of which wins, he is often satisfied with the results.
'''Willpower:''' 10
It is through the constant struggle between control and emotion, between enabling the greatest ambitions of others and their utter destruction that Ghenja's determination to follow his own path, uncaring of opposition or difficulty, arises. Over the years of his service to the imprisoned architects of Creation and, in particular, the most treacherous and invirtous of them all, the Ebon Dragon, he has learned to see all, from mortal to Yozi, with equanimity. He works as his Urge and his Patron desires because it amuses him and because it gives him opportunity for power and destruction. Once he has decided on a course of action, few arguments can successfully sway him if he so chooses. '''Essence:''' 4 (?/? personal motes, ?/? peripheral motes)
(fluff)
