Named for frequent eclipses caused by the planet’s 13 moons. Their erratic movements make night only predictable by computer. The only spaceport of note is Yaw, nestled where night and day last between 2 and 12 hours each. The darkness of the planet is dotted with many ancient ruins.

Scene: Stone edifices towering in the dark. Flashes of daylight as the sun peeks out momentarily before being obscured once again. Buildings without windows, with their own internal UV lights. Blue screens proclaiming official time in defiance of the darkness all around.

Saren Galia: Mystic and treasure hunter. Generally considered to have the best map of the temples on the planet. (paranoid, fast, connected)

Lotus: A carefully-neutral matron who runs a number of hostels on Nightfall, Lotus is in fact a former Nightspeaker who left when Doraam arrived. (popular, passionate, meticulous)

Jet Wolffe: Scarlet Wolves assassin. Can be hired for the right price, but only takes off-world jobs. Travels with a large, blue-skinned alien animal of unknown origin. (aloof, confident, unforgiving)
