==History== Born in a quiet village in the Kingdom of Halta, Sevda learned early in life to survive on her own. Her parents were never active in her life; they died when she was very young in a Linowan raid. She was raised in a village populated with intelligent animals far from the main Haltan territories. All her life she had to struggle for status and recognition, being the only human in her village. Despite this setback, her indomitable spirit earned her a lieutenant position in the local lion militia at the unprecedented age of 15. This earned her a two year tour of duty throughout the land of Halta, and her small world view was expanded in all directions. She saw that others struggled and fought just as she did, and her sense of patriotism swelled. However, many outside influences threatened Halta. Sevda did not trust the Bull of the North, despite his growing popularity, for she felt he did not have the best interests in mind of Halta, or the rest of the East for that matter. Plus, there was Jango Revis, the Deceiver Anathema of the far East who was said to have significant pull in one of the Fair Folk courts. While stationed at the southern edge of Halta’s territory, Sevda and her company of 500 encountered The Immortal Scholar, Anathema ally of Jango Revis, and his enclave of Fair Folk minions seeking passage to a major Haltan settlement. Sevda refused, and dared to stand him down. At the instant her mind was made up, time seemed to stand still, and a light like the rising dawn surrounded her. A voice spoke to her: “All your life you have fought for yourself. Now that you have all you have desired you stand ready to cast it aside for the sake of others. I give you all that you would need, so that you may stand up for the sake of all Creation. Be my Spear, my Shield; be the First Dawn.” When the voice ceased, time flowed normally again, but the light like the rising dawn remained. Knowing deep down the power now at her disposal, Sevda commanded her troops to meet the Scholar’s in glorious battle. Though no force at her disposal could harm The Immortal Scholar, his blows rained down fruitlessly as well, while her Faerie troops fell like wheat for the harvest. Sevda managed to capture the Scholar’s strongest Fair Folk ally, and the battle came to a stand still. Deciding to accept his losses, the Scholar retreated, leaving Sevda and her lion troops victorious. It has been 6 months since that day. Now 17, Sevda has started to come into her power. Some of her troops have deserted, but many more strong, loyal soldiers remain. The Fair Folk prisoner, Ghatotkacha, has grown fond of being Sevda’s prisoner, and she regards him as a special “pet.” She has begun spreading her influence occupying a city-state at the border of Halta. Ultimately, she wishes to raise a Legion the likes of which has not been seen in 1500 years, and lead it in defense of Halta, the East, and all Creation.
