Anima[edit]

  • Piercing rays of light surround her as if the sun has just crested the horizon, originating from her Castemark. As her anima approaches totemic status her Castemark seems to become superimposed above her, until at last the mark becomes the image of a raging lion with braided mane and war tattoos, lunging and swiping in time with Sevda's movements.

Ghatotkacha[edit]

  • Ally 1 - Raksha Noble, "Warrior-Entertainer in Voluntary Exile"
    • This eccentric Raksha became Sevda's prisoner shortly after her Exaltation, and has grown attached to her. In exchange for Essence and emotion overflow to feed on, he lends his unique talents when Sevda requires them. He disappears occasionally when a Wyld zone is nearby, however.

Two Heavens As One[edit]

  • Artifact 5 (Attune 10)
    • An incredibly ancient weapon, the eternal partner of Xiuhcoatl Itotia, the legendary First Dawn and grand master of war throughout the Primordial War and First Age. This awe-inspiring weapon dates back to the Primordial War, and has survived through three ages.

Appearance: Outwardly its mighty blade spans a full six feet and a foot across, and closer inspection reveals that it is actually two swords in one, a complex sorcerous rune forming the seam where the two blades fuse along its length. When separated by the attuned wielder, the weapon splits into two double-edged blades. Joining together again, the weapons form a broad, vaguely leaf-shaped grand daiklave blade.

Powers

  • Holy: Most fundamental to the weapon’s function, Two Heavens is considered Holy and deals aggravated damage to Creatures of Darkness.
  • Bifurcated Weapon: Not content to rely solely on the overwhelming power of the grand daiklave design, Xiuhcoatl’s partner is designed to split apart into matching daiklaves. By spending a single mote and performing a Miscellaneous Action, Two Heavens splits into two weapons with the statistics of regular Orichalcum daiklaves. The blades do not inflict off-hand penalties when wielded together. An additional Miscellaneous Action and mote expenditure joins the blades into their full form again.
  • River of Steel: While in bifurcated mode, Two Heavens drives away harm from its wielder. If either blade is used to parry, the wielder may ignore up to (Essence) penalties to DV.
  • Aura Edge: While in grand daiklave mode, Two Heavens glows with an aura perceptible to mortal eyes. This aura is actually razor sharp, and will slice into anyone who crosses blades with the wielder. Attacks in this mode are considered unblockable.
  • Hearthstone Sockets: Finally, the entire artifact bears two settings for hearthstones. When separated, each blade has a single setting.

Artifact 3[edit]

  • Orichalcum Reinforced Breastplate (Attune 4)

Command 3[edit]

  • Company of lion soldiers from Halta under her direct command.

Sun and Moon United in Splendor[edit]

  • Lunar Bond 5 & Eternal Vow
    • (description coming soon)

Resources 3[edit]

  • Command salary, personal wealth, and random earnings/offerings while traveling.

  • (XP) Glorious Golden Edge (enhances Fire and Stones Strike, allowing Sevda to spend as many motes on it as she wishes. Spending more than Strength motes makes the Charm Obvious.)
  • (XP) Foe-Cleaving Force (+1wp, enhances Fire and Stones Strike, allowing Sevda to pay one Willpower to convert (Essence) dice of damage into automatic successes)
  • (XP) Foe-Cleaving Force (a second purchase further enhances Fire and Stones Strike, allowing extra damage dice to be converted after a Willpower has been spent. Every three dice may be converted into one level of damage.)
  • (XP) Iron Raptor Technique (2m or 4m, performs a Melee attack at range (Essencex8 yards) by hurling the blade and letting it return. By spending 4 motes, the Charm launches an arc of essence, making it unblockable without a stunt or Charm).

  • (XP) Falling Icicle Strike (1m, causes damage successes dealt with any unexpected attack to be counted twice)

War[edit]

Combos[edit]

Lion Rips The Heart[edit]

  • Hungry Tiger Technique + Fire and Stones Strike + Spirit-Cutting Attack For an instant, Sevda's weapon glows with a soft golden light before she strikes with lightning speed. Her mind becomes pre-occupied with all the times she was backed into a corner with no other options, and she will not be reasoned with. By maintaining partial control, Sevda will refrain from killing anyone, but will still maim or cripple them, for in her mind it is simply visiting a pain they will need to overcome.

History[edit]

Born in a quiet village in the Kingdom of Halta, Sevda learned early in life to survive on her own. Her parents were never active in her life; they died when she was very young in a Linowan raid. She was raised in a village populated with intelligent animals far from the main Haltan territories. All her life she had to struggle for status and recognition, being the only human in her village. Despite this setback, her indomitable spirit earned her a lieutenant position in the local lion militia at the unprecedented age of 15.

This earned her a two year tour of duty throughout the land of Halta, and her small world view was expanded in all directions. She saw that others struggled and fought just as she did, and her sense of patriotism swelled.

However, many outside influences threatened Halta. Sevda did not trust the Bull of the North, despite his growing popularity, for she felt he did not have the best interests in mind of Halta, or the rest of the East for that matter. Plus, there was Jango Revis, the Deceiver Anathema of the far East who was said to have significant pull in one of the Fair Folk courts.

While stationed at the southern edge of Halta’s territory, Sevda and her company of 500 encountered The Immortal Scholar, Anathema ally of Jango Revis, and his enclave of Fair Folk minions seeking passage to a major Haltan settlement. Sevda refused, and dared to stand him down. At the instant her mind was made up, time seemed to stand still, and a light like the rising dawn surrounded her. A voice spoke to her:

“All your life you have fought for yourself. Now that you have all you have desired you stand ready to cast it aside for the sake of others. I give you all that you would need, so that you may stand up for the sake of all Creation. Be my Spear, my Shield; be the First Dawn.”

When the voice ceased, time flowed normally again, but the light like the rising dawn remained. Knowing deep down the power now at her disposal, Sevda commanded her troops to meet the Scholar’s in glorious battle. Though no force at her disposal could harm The Immortal Scholar, his blows rained down fruitlessly as well, while her Faerie troops fell like wheat for the harvest. Sevda managed to capture the Scholar’s strongest Fair Folk ally, and the battle came to a stand still. Deciding to accept his losses, the Scholar retreated, leaving Sevda and her lion troops victorious.

It has been 6 months since that day. Now 17, Sevda has started to come into her power. Some of her troops have deserted, but many more strong, loyal soldiers remain. The Fair Folk prisoner, Ghatotkacha, has grown fond of being Sevda’s prisoner, and she regards him as a special “pet.” She has begun spreading her influence occupying a city-state at the border of Halta. Ultimately, she wishes to raise a Legion the likes of which has not been seen in 1500 years, and lead it in defense of Halta, the East, and all Creation.

Personality[edit]

Headstrong, determined, and brimming with seemingly endless energy, Sevda answers all challenges without hesitation, and is loyal to a fault if you can get her on your side. She is generally distrustful of others, having grown up unable to rely on her peers. Better to take what you want than let the other guy snatch it first. Despite this, Sevda does want to make friends, provided they can keep up with her passions.
