** ''RECAP:''  <br> In which our heroes having secured the execution area seek a place to hide. Durgaz is missing though - they realize he has ran to try and save the old man Walden.  The others move to ShadowWall where they know he will return. ShadowWall will also afford them cover being the "Place that Shadow cannot enter." When arriving something is amiss, the group quickly learns of a new little resitance to the Shadow as they meet Doctor. But seeing the approach of a shadow patrol all but Kyuad have time to hide in the attic above. Kyuad speaks with the Legate as if familiar, while the others uncover a mysterious beast in the basement. This chapter ends with the group beginning to escape as Kyuad continues talking with the Legate as they spot Durgaz rushing from the forest!
