Roterdã é dominada por um Conselho de Mercadores, que domina o comércio marítimo de Karzek com toda Éden e os Domínios. As águas são particularmente fundas nesta região, e uma comunidade de Sahuagin serve os humanos de Roterdã. Um grande dragão-tartaruga patrulha a região, após acordo feito com o Conselho. Ele é o grande responsável pelo afundamento de vários navios piratas e embarcações de Avalon. Roterdã vive do comércio, especializado em escravos e especiarias vindas dos mais diversos pontos do mundo.
