==Backgrounds== ===Each Background=== Artifact 4: The Coronae (twin Essence Guns) Speed 6, Accuracy +3, Damage 14L, Rate 4, Range 300, Flame Type * Orichalcum Construction; Never Strikes Unintended Target; Generates Own Ammunition Attunement: 10 motes for both. No activation cost. Lunar Bond: 5 (AUTOMATIC) (An automatic and modified version of the merit Eternal Vow from the 1E Players Guide is also in effect. Said modification allows for the communication of thoughts, emotions and sensations over extended distances) Manse 5 (level 3 Manse) (4 Bonus Points) (Gem of Holy Judgement: Level 5 Solar Hearthstone automatically does Aggravated damage to creatures of darkness when attuned to a weapon.) Manse: Sierra Potage Crow has named his manse after the old household where he spent his mortal life. It appears to those who are not accompanied by the hearthstone bearer only when the sun is at it’s peak everyday. The inside is sleek and bright, with all the comforts of home. It was used by the previous holder of Crow’s Exaltation as a mere getaway, somewhere quiet to get away from all the fuss of business with the Deliberative. Thus it is still somehow understated and calming. Crow also considers it his “base of operations” or at least somewhere to go when there’s nothing else worth doing. The fact that he gets along reliably well with it’s guardian Cyozenoptra, is a substantial bonus. The manse is located at the top of a large cliff facing a picturesque lake, the exterior is made out of pure white marble with beautiful skylights and large windows, allowing inhabitants to take in the small wonders of Creation. The crowning feature is the inverted glass dome in the middle of the roof, which holds a basketball shaped orb of perfectly balanced, shining essence. The play between the light and glass makes the interior seem as if it is bathed in a kaledoscopic, soft wash of colour. Cyozenoptra often floats 5 meters or so above the roof in a meditative state when it’s attention is not otherwise called for. It finds some pleasure in being able to absorb and refract so many different flavours of light at one time. It actually knows the surrounding area extremely well, having had millenia to explore for miles around when not maintaining the manse. It speaks by refracting the light inside it’s own facetted body creating different noises depending on the frequency and angle, somehow producing a flutelike voice. Features: *Central Control *Guardian (Cyozenoptra, The Lord of Light) (2nd Circle Demon of Ligier) *Magical Conveniences (twice) **Automatically prepares food when given ingredients **Automatic and flawless cleaning and maintanence of all rooms and furniture **An essence display screen that can create any picture as voice described by the user and save it for later use **A roof that always shows the stars at night no matter how cloudy the day is, cloud cover, etc. **Lights that perfectly simulate the appearance and feel of sunlight **Any furniture can be created with the right material and appropriate specifications given. It may take a few hours for it to be ready for assembly **Lights can be modified by voice (including activated, deactivated, etc.) **Preternatually comfortable bedding , furniture, etc. **Water filtration systems that can dispense deliciously cool water on command in the right locations (water is taken from the nearby lake) **Recordings of soothing music on a variety of different First-Age instruments can be played on command *Integrated Essence Artillery **1 Storm Hammer **1 Essence Twister **1 (2-dot) Light Implosion Bow *Well-flavoured Aspect Both the Coronae and the Gem of Holy judgement were found in a manse that Crow was led to by extraordinarily vivid dreams. The hearthstone was found set in the core-chamber, as if no one had ever walked in the Solar-Aspected Manse since it was first created. Artifact 2: Essence-Woven Duster (same stats as Artifact reinforced Buff Jacket) Soak: +7/10B - Hardness 5L/5B - Mobility -1 - Attune 3 motes Crow was able to get this duster as payment from a rich Terrestrial beyond the Threshold after cleaning up a ghost problem that she was unwilling to have made public. It can also be edited to show territorial lines, cities, etc. It gives the user's location in Creation on the map. Attunement: 3 motes A treasure Crow found in the catacombs underneath Sijan, held by a Nephwrack that was as powerful as it was mad. Resources: 4 Contacts: 3
