Concept: Crusading gunslinger

Invisible Crow Hunter.png

Motivation[edit]

To avenge his family on the Deathlords and their followers

Intimacies[edit]

The Memory of his family (Love) [+] Hatred of the undead [-] The Destruction of the Deathlords and all who follow them (Hatred) [+] (Supernaturally Enforced with Righteous Lion Defense) Corvid Rasp (+) (Friendship) (Supernaturally Enforced with Lunar Bond) Justice (+) The Crusade Unending (Fortitude) (+) (Supernatural - Elusive Dream Defense)

Anima[edit]

One mote surcharge, per charm, obvious or not, to prevent the motes spent from counting towards the Night's anima banner. The difficulty of the muting effect is equal to the Night's permanent essence AND cloaks the exalt from the eyes of heaven (Outside of Fate) for the duration. Can also extend anima around himself at the cost of 10 motes to hide his identity. Muting increases the difficulty of all rolls to notice or track ICH by half his Essence, rounded up (3). Once it hits the 11-15 range, the anima is as noticable as any other, except that his personal features are obscured.

ICH's totemic anima is composed of what could be best described as a swarm of targeting reticules orbiting and flying around him, as well as a blindingly bright stylized eye over his eyepatch.

Manse: Sierra Potage

Crow has named his manse after the old household where he spent his mortal life. It appears to those who are not accompanied by the hearthstone bearer only when the sun is at it’s peak everyday. The inside is sleek and bright, with all the comforts of home. It was used by the previous holder of Crow’s Exaltation as a mere getaway, somewhere quiet to get away from all the fuss of business with the Deliberative. Thus it is still somehow understated and calming. Crow also considers it his “base of operations” or at least somewhere to go when there’s nothing else worth doing. The fact that he gets along reliably well with it’s guardian Cyozenoptra, is a substantial bonus. The manse is located at the top of a large cliff facing a picturesque lake, the exterior is made out of pure white marble with beautiful skylights and large windows, allowing inhabitants to take in the small wonders of Creation. The crowning feature is the inverted glass dome in the middle of the roof, which holds a basketball shaped orb of perfectly balanced, shining essence. The play between the light and glass makes the interior seem as if it is bathed in a kaledoscopic, soft wash of colour.

Cyozenoptra often floats 5 meters or so above the roof in a meditative state when it’s attention is not otherwise called for. It finds some pleasure in being able to absorb and refract so many different flavours of light at one time. It actually knows the surrounding area extremely well, having had millenia to explore for miles around when not maintaining the manse. It speaks by refracting the light inside it’s own facetted body creating different noises depending on the frequency and angle, somehow producing a flutelike voice.

Limit Break[edit]

Heart of Flint (Conviction):

There are times when Invisible Crow Hunter can no longer stand any delay. The memories of his family cry out for vengeance and sitting around discussing how it should be done solves nothing. If no one is willing to take the necessary actions to see his goals met, then he will do it alone.

When under Limit Break, Invisible Crow Hunter becomes cold and uncaring. He is not sadistic, but only cares about getting something done as efficiently as possible. If the best way to get the exact directions to a new Shadowland is torturing it out of a death cultist, then so be it.

Knife: It's a regular knife, for food and combat!

History[edit]

He doesn't talk much about where exactly he's from. He just tells his story to those who ask without giving any specific location. He used to live as a regular man, farming with his family. his wife and children. They weren't rich and sometimes went hungry, but they were content. Until his farmstead was attacked by a pack of hungry ghosts somehow working in concert with each other. He stood and fought for as long as he could, losing his left eye in the process. Yet while blood covered his vision, he found that he could SEE through it still, he saw a 4-armed Sun God urge him on to victory and his destiny...then when he had cut a swathe through the hungry ghosts, he saw another ghost, one with pits of nothingness for eyes, leading and organizing them. This was not a random attack. It had been planned. Since then, Invisible Crow Hunter has been travelling Creation, trying to find out why. He's learned about dark masters of the Underworld, holding ghost and mortal alike under their heel. He knows they have something to do with it, and he won't stop until he finds them all and makes them pay. It is in pursuit of this that he changed his name and became the greatest shooter in all of Creation

Personality[edit]

Invisible Crow Hunter is a taciturn man who doesn’t like to make big speeches or trust pretty words, but when he speaks, it is with an unexpected authority that people can feel in their bones. Despite his rough exterior, his conviction is tempered with a soft heart towards those who are in need of aid. He will often help others, not asking for a reward if he can see that they can’t afford it.
