==The Glebe==

Adjacent to the [[ALVATIA:_Ingsby_-_Rectory|rectory]] and [[ALVATIA:_Ingsby_-_Cemetary|village cemetary]] is the [[ALVATIA:_Ingsby_-_Glebe|glebe]]: fields whose produce is the property of the church. A low fieldstone wall separates the glebe from the [[ALVATIA:_Ingsby_-_Cemetary|cemetary]]; the other boundaries are marked by hedges, hurdles, and wattle fencing. A gate to the [[ALVATIA:_Ingsby_-_Rectory|rectory croft]], and another on the west side facing the barn, open into the [[ALVATIA:_Ingsby_-_Glebe|glebe]]. Stiles lead to the fields east and south.

The [[ALVATIA:_Ingsby_-_Glebe|glebe]] is farmed with the same three-field system used on the rest of the manor.

==Transients==

[[ALVATIA:_Ingsby_-_Rectory#Robert|Robert]], the servant of [[ALVATIA:_Ingsby_-_Rectory#Father_Wallace|Father Wallace]], is the commonest visitor here. Various villagers can be found here by day, doing their tithe work.
