They are famous for two things, rowing their bark canoes and small boats up and down all the waterways of the great forest, and their famous ancestor Tumeril the Swordmaster. Aelle has spent most of his early life doing both, the creeks and secret paths of the forest are his highways, and he has spent endless hours duelling with his Uncle Farnaror. Recent Aelle showed up early for his daily lessons, and found the ladder that led up to the practice hall drawn up where he could not reach it. His Uncle said, "There is much that I can still teach you, but before I do you must go and find knowledge for yourself." With that note, Aelle packed a few meagre belongings, took his bow and his sword "Willow Wand" and left the forest for the wonders and dangers of the greater world.
