The Japanese are attempting to use Alani's islands as a base to attack American shipping. Alani starts the film as a captive of the Japanese, before being rescued by Captain Cliff Striker of the Flying Tigers Air Squadron. She and the Tigers then wage a short guerilla war to free her people from the occupiers, followed by a dual climax with Alani and her people fighting soldiers on the ground while the Flying Tigers take on their planes in the air.
