== Concept == 
Caspian is a hacker with a cheerful nature and cheerfully casual attitude to crime (as long as no one gets hurt). He didn't know it until recently, but everything about his life is a lie. His body used to belong to someone else, the personality mindwiped and Caspian left in their place.

'''One Unique Thing:''' I used to be someone else, before PsiCorp mind-wiped me. Remnants of that old personality are hidden in a "vault" in my mind along with the existance of the technomage who built the vault in the first place.

What's in the vault:

The existence of the interface and the ability to use it.

The name of his previous personality: Arik Johansson. Random unsorted memories of Arik's.

Vin, a Centauri technomage, who installed it as part of a deal with Caspian's former self:<br>
*He gets access to technology for information-gathering and defence; she gets eyes and ears, and a remote platform.
*It backs up critical information within the brain to a separate form of storage (the vault).
*It can't be accessed by telepaths, and Caspian can't access it if being/at risk of being scanned.

That the former self was caught by PsiCorp and erased, and they then installed a more compliant version of the original personality:<br>
*"Your fear of space travel stems in part from the desire for you to not wander too far."
*"You're also...nicer than you used to be."

Caspian's sister Kelly is actually his half-sister Kelsey and is the one who did or orgnaised the mindwipe.

== Background ==
As far as he knows, Caspian's early life was unremarkable. Normal family, normal childhood. He was good with computers and such so after school ended up in a boring sysadmin job. He left Earth when his parents passed, eager to see more of the galaxy. His only living relative is a sister - who also happens to be a teep, so he doesn't see much of her. They're not enouraged to mix.

An accident on a ship saw him in hospital for a spell and saw him unmoored from where he thought his life was heading. The resulting phobia of space travel has left him reluctant to travel far, if at all, and left a trip back to Earth unthinkable. That's what drove him into Mr Reno's orbit, and a career as a small time hacker.
