However, every time the crew suffers a Misfortune, the GM rolls twice and chooses the worse of the two. A large, flightless bird retrieved from an otherwise unprofitable Death World years before, the austeryx's deceptively-spindly frame, agility, and mile-eating trot are perfect for anyone looking to quickly travel along the ship's narrow, frequently-congested corridors. The captain, of course, has his own carriage for the shadow-horses, but we haven't decided yet if that would be appropriate or desirable.
