Rising up from the plains of Kansas and crossing westward into Colorado brings a traveler to the Rocky Mountains. The rugged Colorado territory is home to many hundreds of great peaks in excess of 10,000 feet, riddled with seams of valuable minerals. Countless boom towns have sprung up to drag their fortunes from the earth’s rocky clutches.

Coffin Rock began as just a town—founded when copper was discovered in the surrounding mountains. Smaller claims came and went, and the town’s fortunes rose and fell accordingly. But it was one big strike, and the man who made it, that shaped the town’s history and current predicament. The year is 1880.

Players should track their Bennies and Conviction in their IC headers. I will track them here. If you feel I've gotten your count wrong, ping me in OOC or via DM, and I'll fix it.

While there is the potential for a fairly significant amount of player vs player conflict in a game like this one, I prefer not to run games that lean heavily to that assumption. Games like that simply do not need a GM, and I would much rather spend my time running games that ''do'' need a GM.

Disagreements, trash-talking, and indirect actions that might affect another character but aren't made directly against that character are all potentially on the table, with the stipulation that if something just makes the game not fun for someone, we respect that and steer clear.

We will want to agree on what works for each of us in-game posts, as this is a Spaghetti Western with MEAT! There are also horror elements; the goal is fun, not to make someone uncomfortable.
