− | A techno-wizard raised in Lazlo, born to a pair of ordinary robot pilots who fled as far as they could from Japan, ending up in North America. Some sort of clan dispute, they never talked about it much and she barely remembers the nation of her birth.

| |
− | Yoko was curious about it though, there is supposedly a city in Japan that came from before the time of the Rifts, bearing who knows what lost knowledge! She has a passion for history fired up by those stories, something that pushed her to earn a degree in pre-Rifts North American history (her first being techno-magic).
| |
− |
| |
− | During her and after her time at the university, she worked for the city government, helping to reconstruct lost technologies from old records with an eye towards updating them with techno-magic power sources.
| |
− |
| |
− | The fall of Tolkeen had a bad effect on her city, crime and violence rising, and fear, fear of the Coalition and what it might do next. No one bit or lore or magic the city held could be sure to hold off that empire.
| |
− |
| |
− | In the face of such uncertainty for the future, Yoko took a sabbatical from her work and set out to the south to recover other lost knowledge to add to Lazlo's store of information. And if a concerned citizen just happens to write letters to an old work friend that include a great many observations about the Coalition and things around it, well, that's no one's business but her own, isn't it?
| |
− |
| |
− | She's openly curious about many things but otherwise somewhat reserved, having learned many of her favorite topics of conversation are completely opaque to many people. She's driven by both principle and practicality in her current mission.

| |
− | Yoko stands about 5'7” tall with brown eyes and straight hair that falls to her waist, usually worn up in a ponytail. She favors archaic pre-Rifts clothing, things like brown flight jackets and cargo pants or blue jumpsuits, both accented with project and squadron patches and tall laced boots... and goggles, of course.
