Fall of the Feywild, Borderlanders, is a Planescape adventure dealing with the ending of a major realm of the cosmos and it's effect on the Great Wheel.
==The Beginning of the End==

An age is ending, the Serpent tightens its coils, and the Veil frays.

The Feywild is falling, bleeding helplessly into the Prime and the Shadowfel as well as some of the planes that share kinship with the Fey. It is a far off change, and a very general one that should not affect the turning of the Great Wheel overmuch - save that the Sidhe are masters of portals and guardians of Ways that were ancient when the worlds were young.

Within their own dying plane, Sidhe mastery of moving between realms almost rivals the Lady of Pain herself.

The tears in the veil are many, opening into whatever realms the Sidhe can manipulate them to open on to give their people the chance to flee their dying realm, spilling souls into the Prime and - when things go horribly wrong - into the Shadowfel. In the sacred groves and hollows of the Feywild, more gentle openings offer refuge in the Elemental and Quasi-elemental planes akin to those spaces.

But ancient portals once guarded and protected by the Sidhe have also been opened, and in every ward the Children of the Fey are pouring into the already overcrowded torus of Sigil itself.

Many vanish in that same moment, drawn into one of the Lady's inescapable labyrinths, but with so many portals opening, many cunning souls manage to slip through the cracks and find sanctuary, or at least a shadow to hide from the Lady's displeasure - for a time.

Borderlanders are unique beings born in one realm (usually the Prime) but raised in the Feywild. Something about growing up ''in'' the Feywild while not being ''of'' the Feywild has left them with a particular sensitivity to the places where realms rub up against one another. Portals and potential portals are clear to their sight, and they have an uncanny knack for understanding the key that will open a given portal.

Borderlanders are unique among Planewalkers. Born between the Outland and the Hiniterlands, Borderwalkers have a sensitivity to the places where realms rub up against one another. Portals and potential portals are clear to their sight, and they have an uncanny knack for understanding the key that will open a given portal.

It is this sensitivity that allowed the Borderlanders to survive the Lady's purge when the Sidhe opened the ancient forgotten Portals.

The portals are many. And they only open one way. Into whatever realms the Sidhe can access, to let their people free. Many of the portals are erupting into the Prime. Still more have opened into the Elemental and Demi-Elemental planes. And in an unprecedented wave, ancient portals once guarded and protected by the Sidhe have once again been activated and opened, and the Children of the Fey are pouring into Sigil itself.

So many of those were doomed, the refugees pouring from their dying realm into the Cage only to vanish a moment later into one of the Lady's labyrinths, never to be heard from again. But with so many portals coming to life at once, many cunning souls slipped through the cracks and found sanctuary - or at least a shadow to hide in.
