:To a Rule of Law warrior, adherence to justice and law is the highest principle. Founded in the Yodotai Empire, the Rule of Law techniques are practiced by elite troops and justicars, but ronin/Gaijin calling himself Praxis brought its techniques (which many find questionable) to Rokugan.

:The Yodotai Legionaires are well versed in fighting with a weapon in one hand and a shield in the other. You suffer no penalties for fighting with a shield in your offhand, and may fight holding a spear with one hand, so long as you hold a shield in your offhand. When fighting with a Shield in your offhand, add 5 plus your school rank to your TN to be hit. When wielding a shield and making a Defense roll, you may roll Warfan instead.
