Attractive section of content. I just stumbled upon your website and in accession capital to assert that I get in fact enjoyed account your blog posts. Any way Ill be subscribing to your feeds and even I achievement you access consistently rapidly. edcddbkdeegcgefk =2009= ==Hypocrisy== LOL -- your critique is a bit hypocritical actually. AD&D and almost every other successful RPG is all about killing racial minorities -- just not ones identified with real life minorities who can talk back and sue out of game. Although if I am not mistaken AD&D was sent letters by the NAACP threating to sue based on their perception than Drow represented the real life black minority. Of course nothing ever happened because in most campaigns the evidence was too ridiculous thin to take to court. Bottom line? Successful RPGs use racial war with fake races because every games needs easily identified enemies. Uniforms are not very flexible and limit the game to idealistic Prussian War rules (no spies, no civilians, nobody out of uniform and limited variety of uniforms). Fake races keep the legal issues from cropping up too early. --Just Noting Reality 69.23.124.142 ==FATAL review== Has anybody else noticed that the link to the FATAL review is dead? Not the "From another time", the "Fantasy adventure" one. I want to see just how much they changed. 71.229.74.0 :There is a list of books at https://web.archive.org/web/20020105154301/http://members.tripod.com/Contingent_88/fataldownload.html not sure if they all got made. Ty (talk) 20:21, 4 April 2016 (PDT) =2012= ==SenZar== SenZar does not deserve to be on here. The game is mechanically solid, probably the best game in its style released prior to 3e D&D. It has cheese metal iconography, but that does not make it a bad RPG. 99.170.101.50 =2016= ==pointless quote== :F.A.T.A.L., which has been called "the date rape RPG, without dating" I realize this shows up (albeit as "without the dating") on 1d4 but it's a silly quote. FATAL does have rules for dating, under "seduction", and they are far more thorough than the rules on rape. For something stereotyped with rape, the rules barely focus on it at all and they're incredibly silly (only males can rape, only females can be rape, a rapist must outweigh their victim, etc) Ty (talk) 20:21, 4 April 2016 (PDT) The wayback archive for hybrid doesn't work. robots.txt error. 208.107.143.117 20:35, 6 August 2016 (PDT) =2017= ==VTNL== Might be an interesting addition to the list of worst RPGs. VTNL aka Via The New Legends is a russian cargo-cult tabletop RPG. The game was released in 2015 (or at least it was it's core component β rulebook) but still is far from overall completion β no magic rules etc. Author claims that he's been doing all the work for 15 (or maybe more) years. Rulebook is about 120 pages long which include setting description half page long, odious character creation rules, how to stash items in inventory (not the variety of equipment β just how to pack it), how to record campaign progress and infamous rules for actual throwing dice on a wooden "dicefield". Also VTNL is infamous for its gameplay gross facilitation: you require a calcualtor, "dicefield", desk bell, notepads, stickers and a computer for battles. There is a decent review on 1d4chan that could tell more: https://1d4chan.org/wiki/VTNL Also one foreign review in Russian: inspired by Darren MacLennan & Jason Sartin.
