The Freedom Ledger takes the place roughly of the New York Times with its coverage of almost everything that's worth reporting in the city, country, and the world today. The publishing house is owned by the Media Mogul family of the Beaumonts whom are reportedly "Richer than God" thanks to their consistent investment in everything cutting edge regarding the media. The Freedom Ledger is actually now only a smaller part of a much larger corporate enterprise that owns pretty much the majority of Freedom City's Global Broadcasting Network.
