[[Doctor Kessler]] developed this mathematical expression based on earlier theoretical work by a colleague of his at the Chambers Institute. The equation, which begins "[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Quick 3x2(9yz)4a]," is named in that colleague's honor. By using numerical representations of the tableau before him as the variables, Doctor Kessler can solve the equation for a single scene. The derived results, however, are unimportant; what's vital is the mental exercise of running the numbers. The particular pattern, the mental hoops the equation makes Doctor Kessler jump through, trigger the release of a particular set of endorphins into the blood, increasing the Doctor's speed and accuracy a dozen-fold! The Gill Equation is Academics-based Innovative Super-Science, with the following mechanics: '''Effect:''' * Blazing Speed (60 days of research) '''Dice Pool:''' * 1/2 Academics '''Secondary Functions:''' * +3 Dexterity (15 days of research, +2 difficulty) * +1 Strength (5 days of research) * +25% running speed (40 days of research) '''Warranty:''' * 7 months ---- [[ADVENTURE!: Tales from Planet Zero]]
