The Hopewell Foundation is looking for a caring and open-minded candidate with strong interpersonal and a commitment to public welfare to serve as its Director of Government Consultation and Charitable Aid. The Director will be responsible for a dual portfolio. First is providing information to governments, both foreign and domestic. While working closesly with the Director of Public Relations and Director of Programs, this includes arranging for Foundation staff to appear before committees, providing governments with needed (and approved) internal publications and being familiar with the professional services the Foundation provides to all branches of government. Second, the Director must coordinate the Foundation's charitable donations, both financial and man-hours, assessing external need and working with the the Director of Finance and the Director of Programs to determine the Foundation's ability to provide. The position requires a Masters Degree in public policy, social science or business and at least three years of professional experience and two years of management experience, preferably in a community-focused public purpose enterprise.
