Just off Little York Place and Glouster Place, Josephine's converted mews covers two floors. The ground floor has an office/reception room at the front, with storage room and a kitchen at the rear. Stairs up from the kitchen lead to the reason Josephine lives here: a full length loft with ample skylights above. It is the loft where she sleeps and practices her martial and physical arts. She spent a pretty penny getting the place plumbed for water and a W/C. One day she hopes to put in a proper bath tub. Heat is provided by steam radiators, run off pipes that serve the entire building, of which Josephine's place is a unit. | |||
