Widely regarded as the best car in the world for the past 19 years, the Silver Ghost gets its name both for its distinctive coloration and its nearly silent engine.
Turkish merchant Daoud Sengul recently purchased one on his visit to England and Charles “Charlie” Desgrange made some special modifications to the engine as the two men rode the Orient Express east.
