AlohaNet is an alliance in the Pacific loosely modeled on the Gola Republic although it is funded mainly by providing communication services to the Traiders:Han diaspora. The relatively high population density and ecological catastrophe in the Pacific has been particularly disastrous for Polynesian communities, so AlohaNet is trying to organize and transform Polynesian culture by borrowing ideas from the transatlantic littoral cultures.
