Hasnin is a lush green world filled with deep primeval forests, lush tropical islands,and other stuff. It has a population of humans close to a billion but most are focused around urban centers. Technologically its around 1900.

The world has a large number of dangerous normal animals. Large bears, Elk, Stags, sharks. The world he sought was one with great hunting and fishing. There is a race like the native American Indians in the world, mostly the high country, but they don't have the violent history native Americans had on our earth.

Tancred has a fort estate high in the mountains with a small population of people who didn't want to live "down below". Several forts clustered together for mutual protection from dangerous beasts.

A son of a shade of Dalt raised in Eregenor. A hunter, soldier, mercenary. Grew up with Dalt's hatred of Amber. Trained in many worlds including earth style worlds, having joined an earth Army with Dalt. After the Black Road War Tancred soured on his fathers hatred of Amber and went his own way and did not see his father again till after Merlin's adventures. Sought out Amber on his own in the hope of making his own opinions about the place.

Once upon a time in Hansisn

While hunting he ran across another hunter with a surprise. He was Vek, a lord of Chaos. He claimed to have been a bonewarrior of House Hendrake at Patternfall. After that the Hendrake Duke made orders he be trained in certain arts for unknown reasons. In time the reason became known. He was of Amber blood. Part of a horrid experiment created by the dark and exiled Baroness Maylon Hendrake. In time he assayed the Logras and was publicly made a Lord of the House. He was given some freedom to explore.

Being a sailor and hunter by preference and trade he happened along the shadow. He and Tancred became fast friends and spent a lot of time together. iT was soon after Patternfall and his conversations with Vek were a crucible in his changing opinion toward his father's view toward Amber.

Vek was given permission to visit Hansin and he did . In time he took Tancred to Amber and after a conversation with several elders he entered the military where he rose in rank quickly.

Raise in Rank and becoming an Elite.

He fought with distinction in many of the military encounters of the day and stayed friends with Vek and became more attached to Amber. In time he was sent to Rasak and became an Elite.
