- Dale was among the first group of Survivors to come seeking The Hopewell Foundation's assistance. He can change into an emergy form that emits heat and a green/yellow illumination, but finds that nearby plants wilt when he's in this form. He has some control over his power and refuses to activate it. He wants to be cured on his "condition."
