Base Classes

A few base classes are not available for players to take at all, due to style restrictions or setting considerations. Rather than listing base classes that are not available, and updating the list as each new book comes out, a list of available base classes should suffice:

  • Barbarian
  • Bard
  • Druid
  • Fighter
  • Knight
  • Ranger
  • Rogue
  • Scout
  • Sorcerer
  • Wizard

These available base classes are further sub-divided by nation, as noted in The Peoples and Nations of Scalgard. This is to preserve regional flavor, and can be safely ignored with a good reason, but note that DMs and Players will have to work harder to preserve differences between nations.
