St. Lorenz Cathedral, once the jewel of Nurberg, is now a shattered hulk of its once-sacred self. A victim of a mysterious lightning blast years ago and the site of several unusual accidents involving the curious and the foolhardy, it is an abandoned cathedral and the Bishop of Nurnberg has decreed a new cathdral built elsewhere in the city as its replacement.
