Founded shortly after the birth of the UN, Peaceforce is a large team of assorted superheroes who help keep the peace, enforce U.N. sanctions, help with disaster relief, and so on. Rarely active on U.S. soil due to political pressures. At any given time, there are about two dozen members of Peaceforce, with assorted abilities.

Founded by eugenicists, and influenced considerably by Nazi fugitives, THETA attempts to study the nature of metahumanity, kidnapping metahumans and subjecting them to experiments, and attempting to trigger the metagene of others. They are responsible for the creation of a large number of supervillains.
